Youth Involvement
FAFQ has an active youth community that we support by:
- promoting and encouraging active participation in civic and national affairs of Australia
- promoting the colourful and unique culture and traditions of Filipinos so that Filipino-Australian youth develop a genuine appreciation and pride in their heritage
- encouraging involvement in major FAFQ events, such as candidate recruitments, participation in the production numbers, preparation of souvenir programs and newsletters, website development and management and other related activities
- organising activities and program that enhance and recognise the talents of the Filipino-Australian youth, such as annual leadership training, sports fest and awards nights.
