On Saturday 2nd September 2023, the Filipino-Australian Foundation of Queensland Inc (FAFQ Inc.) held its 2nd FAFQ Inc. Charity Queen Australia 2023 Coronation Night and Gala Dinner at the Sunnybank Performing Arts and Cultural Centre (SunPAC), Brisbane, Australia. This fundraising event is aimed at helping the chosen advocacies of candidates and crowning the one with the highest points raised as FAFQ Inc. Charity Queen Australia 2023.

Ms Marivic Yulo Christensen was awarded the title on the night. Her advocacy is to mitigate the effects of malnutrition among children in Western Samar, Philippines. Health and nutrition outreach activities will include fruit-tree growing, feeding, distribution of vegetable seedlings and helping the school develop a communal garden as part of this program.
